The week started with a fine win for our Under 16s who bet a fancied Melifont combination in Division 1 league by 5 points, you can see that this team has been steadily progressing and if the lads apply themselves in training they will have an exciting year ahead. Tuesday saw our 2nd team beat Kilkerley by a point in our pitch, Great to see lads like Callo , Tadgh, James ,Conor and Luke out playing, all players capabable, with a bit of dedication,  of playing with our 1st team, a special word also for the returning rover that is Johnny Kermath as the saying goes 'class is permanent' and its great to see Johnny back. Thursday saw our first team suffer a heavy and disappointing defeat to local rivals Newtown Blues in the league, However its still early in the season and we were missing a few of our more established players ,Hard work on and off the pitch is whats required to turn our fortunes around. The weekend saw our nursery and juvenille training on Saturday morning with huge numbers again in attendance. Well done to all our mentors ,particularly those in the Nursery section for all their hard work. Finally Sunday ended with our super U7 cubs strutting their stuff in Monesterboice . Games against the Martins and Hunterstown where the order of the morning and big smiles  at the the end showed the true worth of these non competitive blitzes.
